Engineering Solutions, Inc. is a woman-owned small-business consulting engineering firm specializing in the fields of civil, sanitary, structural and environmental engineering. The firm was established in August 1993 and provides quality engineering design and consultation services to a diverse clientele in Hawaii and the Pacific Basin. Project expertise includes storm water management and drainage; wastewater collection, treatment and disposal; water (potable and non-potable) source investigations, treatment and distribution; industrial waste water treatment and disposal; oily waste treatment; rehabilitation of utility systems; structural design; environmental permitting, investigation and consulting; and sustainable design.
Currently, the firm has a staff of 16 (15 full-time and 1 part-time) employees, of which ten (10) are engineers, four (4) of whom are licensed. Three (3) of our engineers hold advanced degrees in Environmental Engineering and 1 engineer holds an advanced degrees in geotechnical engineering and geology/geophysics. ESI's professional staff has experience in all phases of engineering from field/environmental investigations to engineering studies, planning, design, operation and maintenance manuals, and construction administration and inspection. The firm's principals and staff have done work covering the entire range of environmental and civil engineering with emphasis in water (potable and non-potable) source investigations, treatment and distribution; wastewater collection, treatment and disposal; utility systems rehabilitation; storm water management/drainage; and structural and sustainability design.
